Junk Gypsy + Pottery Barn Teen

Project Case Study

The Junk Gypsies are purveyors of the world’s finest junk. They have designed Miranda Lambert’s original tour bus, backstage lounges at the Austin City Limits festival, have had their own design series on HGTV. The Gypsies combine flea market finds with chipped, peeling vintage furniture, old concert posters, crystal chandeliers, roadside relics, scuffed-up cowboy boots, and decadent velvets & brocades. The Junk Gypsy style is a crossroads of cultures, eras, and aesthetics, in all its cluttered, tattered, saturated glory. Junk Gypsy collaborated with Pottery Barn Teen on a Southwest inspired home decor and accessories capsule collection. The collection includes a weekender duffle, a fringe mini backpack, clutch pouch, jewelry wrap, makeup brush case and jewelry boxes. The travel pieces are made from genuine suede leather, striped yarn dye flannel, denim chambray lining, and antique brass hardware.
